Hmm...Thanksgiving holidays weren't too good or bad for me as expected. I saw one of the
Thanksgiving parades on TV and I was shocked...the rickroll guy was in it. Uh Rick Astley or
something like that. Or at least his song was. I sorta stopped paying attention to it and
when that happened I missed the name. Really, I think they were trying to do the "internet"
thing a little bit because several times they had acts that were supposedly famous internet
stars. Naturally, I wouldn't know whether they were or not...
Heh...Pikachu was in the parade. WOOT!! Come on Naruto...
Had several strange dreams during these holidays (only two I remember well though). Ranging
from going in some strange school and running through the hallways passing some Christmas
trees, cleverly evading the police, and outrunning some random people by walking fast, then
running when they got close since I knew I couldn't run long that was my only hope
(omg...self, Give me more stamina in a DREAM at least...)
Another one where I THINK but I seriously don't know if it was about the WWE Divas because
it didn't look like any one of them specifically and I never dreamt about them before so I
dunno. But WWE Smackdown was on the night of that dream so that's the only reason why I made
this connection...
I've actually also managed finish up some of my "self-studies" about the Blender game engine
based off of this digi-book. I ended up not learning much as I figured. So I finally took
some time out to work on that Yura Yura Sakura idea. Didn't do much but as this is the first
thing I've done in MONTHS with it, I consider it an improvement.
Other stuff, I ate enough random things ranging from turkey, dressing, maccaroni, vanilla
ice cream, pickled beets, peas, marble cake, and salmon. Not all at once of course.
And I've started playing my GameCube version of The Sims again. I had stopped because the
chapter I faced was about something I DID NOT want to deal with. Raising a baby. *shudder*
It was horrible like I thought, and then they dump a second one on you...
Managed to grab one library visit in during the holidays. Good thing too because for the
first time ever, Runescape did a Thanksgiving event. I'm really surprised because they are a
UK-based company from what I knew. That's why the only events they did were Easter,
Halloween, and Christmas. I think they kind of threw it together though as there wasn't much
to do with it but still I did it just because. One of these days I am going to try and play
that game seriously again...one of these days...
And guess that's just about it other than minor events I guess. And now back to the normal
daily grind until Christmas break *cough* "Winter" break I should say.
Oh yeah I do have something to add from today. While I was waiting on the bus this morning because it was another one of those darned "late" days, I saw some news reports. I'll leave out most of the details but one of those was about a guy who did a video suicide and people had been cheering him on. The other was the top 10 Yahoo searches and Naruto was 7th place, and RUNESCAPE (!?!?!) was 5th.
